We had an absolute blast today at the Renaissance Festival outside of Charlotte. We felt as if we'd travelled back in time, there were so many people in character for the time period.
The kids even rode an elephant!
During the jousting tournament, our side of the stadium cheered for one of the knights, and the other side cheered for the other. In the picture above was the "other" knight. Below is a picture of the queen watching the tournament. It was fun how realistically they tried to portray everything about life in the middle ages.
